The time

Lord of fate,
they lie like fallen blossoms
on the cemetry.

The past is scattered
accross the silent field
Once, I thought
I could say something beautiful.
I study hard at school
learned from my teachers
and sang their books.
More than 10 years
I'm living on this earth,
and this year
I'll face an exam,
that will change my future.

Lord of fate,
what does the future
hold for me?
So many people asleep.
Lord of fate,
only you know
whether I will ever find
the beauty of my dreams
that I want.

Lord of fate,
where has my life gone?
where are my dreams?
will they ever return?
Lord, one day
my heart asked:
when we die?
Tommorow? Next week? Next year?
or today?

Flowers fall,
fall to the earth.
Time falls,
falls to the past.

But when the time go?
Lord of all,
everything enters the lonely field
passes to a far country.
Time gathered in memories,
as hands scatter flowers
trying to take them back again.

Flowers fall,
fall to the earth.
Time falls,
falls to the past.

p/s: this poem had been edited by me today: 11 February 2011 (11.2.11).
I got this poem from a book entitled Song Of The Pelican wrote by Suhaimi Haji Muhammad.
The actual poem named The Cemetry; but it's too 'cemetry'..so I rewrote it.
